Prepaid Option on BlackBerry
BlackBerry services will be available on  Prepaid for non enterprise subscribers
This is the first prepaid offering by a CDMA operator worldwide and the second in the world forBlackBerry services.
A customer can purchase a BlackBerry handset and take prepaid voice and  BlackBerry services on his handset
The customer will be debited the  amount  required as per the BlackBerry plan every month.
In case the customer goes into negative core  balance  and his outgoing voice services are suspended  then his BlackBerry services will be suspended too
No credit will be given for lapsed BlackBerry validity due to service barring on account of voice balance expiry / core balance becoming zero.

How to Subscribe to Prepaid

1. A subscriber can go to any BlackBerry stocking Reliance World or Reliance Communications outlet.

2.Subscriber can buy any BlackBerry handset model of his choice.

3.While purchasing the desired BlackBerry handset and the GSK, the subscriber is required to fill in a prepaid CAF and prepaid BAF. The subscriber should    also sign an undertaking for the terms and conditions of the service which is on the reverse side of the prepaid BAF. Other necessary additional details    for the Blackberry including type of service should be duly filled and submitted along with the required documents to the retailer. Existing subscribers will    have to do a handset change to BlackBerry and fill the prepaid BAF.

4.The CAF and BAF will have to be entered in the provisioning system.

5.The customer has to use the GSK to activate the phone. He has to enter the PIN number and follow the instructions given on the GSK to activate the    phone and follow the instructions. The customer has to enter the PIN number to activate the phone.

6.Once the process of activation is complete. Over the Air Activation (OTAF) process will register the MDN no. of the handset and confirm to the    subscriber if the handset has been successfully registered. Subscriber will have to use the applicable recharges when required.

7.To start using the handset, the subscriber is required to switch it off and switch it on after 15 minutes. The handset is then ready for use. Customer will    also receive a confirmatory SMS for successful activation of the handset.

Important points for Prepaid option
Validity of the plans is for one month post which amount will be debited regularly.
The periodic debit should happen, even if the subscribers core balance is less than what is required .i.e. the subscriber’s balance can go in negative, after which the service should be suspended .
If the subscriber does not have adequate core balance in his Pre-paid account then all his services will get barred (except incoming call facility).
All Unlimited products will be subject to a ‘Fair Use’ and ‘No Commercial Use’ policy
Migration/ opting out of  plan is only possible at the end of each recharge  validity period and needs to be communicated at least  7 working days in advance by phone or 3 working days in advance by  email or fax  to Reliance customer care or by going to the Reliance World or Reliance Communications outlet  before the end of his recharge validity.
Migration from prepaid to post paid or vice versa is not possible and  can only be done if  the handset is deactivated and a fresh GSK based activation is done with a new MDN.
